'U T O P I A'

The artist, depressed by the outcome of the last presidential election,

sent out a mass mailing to several hundred of her closest friends asking

for their views on a building a better world and the Utopia was the result.

Some of the ideas sent from the survey are incorporated in this body of work.

The exhibition crosses over a number of social, political and economic

boundaries, some with wit, others in all seriousness. The collages also bind

different periods of time and architecture seamlessly. Deborah's work is

as beautiful as it is provocative.
